Following a horrific car crash on 2 March 2022, Cape Town singer-songwriter and guitarist, Justen Hosken, passed away on 10 March. Hosken, known for his incredible musical talent as the lead singer of Rabbit Black, was a soft-spoken and sensitive person with a huge musical talent. He was a final year BMus student at Stellenbosch University and was proficient on classical, acoustic and electric guitars, performing in all manner of styles and genres. After the accident, Justen had to undergo major surgery, leaving huge medical bills due to hospitalisation and surgical costs.
