Internationally acclaimed dancer and choreographer, Tanya Diamond, and concert guitarist and Stellenbosch Konservatorium lecturer, Nina Fourie-Gouws, combine artistic forces in LA FEMME! This visually and auditory captivating production combines the passion, fire and intensity of contemporary solo Flamenco dance with the rich, complex and sensuous sounds of classical guitar. Tanya and Nina embrace the rich Spanish tradition of music and dance while exploring new sonic possibilities of contemporary classical repertoire. Traditional Spanish accompaniment, including castanets, cajon and palmas, will be provided by members of the SoloFLAMENCO dance studio.
